What to Expect
You can expect a warm and welcoming environment at First Baptist that will allow you to experience real community. We have reserved first-time guest parking directly in front of our sanctuary on Church St. and our greeters will gladly help you find your way. Our worship music is a mix of the old and the new with a more traditional feel and presentation. Also, don’t worry about what to wear, we have a “come as you are” policy at First Baptist. We provide two opportunities for you to worship with us, at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Where do my kids go?
Each weekend your babies and toddlers (birth to two years) will be safely cared for during both services in our nursery, located just outside the sanctuary. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. our nursery care continues while children (two years through Pre-K) will enjoy doing crafts, making music, playing games, and story time in our preschool Sunday School classes. Kids (K to 5th Grade) will enjoy Bible study in Kids Sunday School. Students (6th – 12th Grade) have their own time of bible study and fellowship. On Wednesdays (during the school year) there is a nursery for babies and toddlers (birth to two years) and Mission Experience for kids 2 years and older, while the Youth meet together for bible study and other activities.
