If any men speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.   1 Peter 4:11

Community Food Pantry Supporter

As a member church of the Sequatchie County Fellowship of Churches Food Bank, Dunlap First Baptist Church is concerned about the nutritional needs of the community.   Dunlap First Baptist Church provided the pantry for over 10 years before moving it to the old middle school building located on Heard Street.  Food is distributed there on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-12 a.m. for those in need.

Women’s Fellowship Group

This women’s group comes together each month for a time of devotion and camaraderie. The group meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Bouffant Beauty Salon annex to learn more about missions or engage in themed bible studies.

Busy Bees

This women’s group is proactive in helping in the local community and those in need.  They buy groceries for the community food pantry hosted by First Baptist Church of Dunlap and stock the shelves.  They also help clothe needy children, provide needs for nursing home residents, provide needs for jailed inmates and donate monies for Exceptional Enterprises among other activities.  This group meets every 1st Monday of the month.

Story Hour

This loving ministry consists of women who dedicate their time, imagination and experience to reading or sharing stories of the days of the past to local nursing home residents. This group meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
