Operation
Christmas Child 2009 We would like to
thank all who participated in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas
Child in 2009. We want to thank the
ladies who spent time preparing and packing shoe boxes during November at the
church. Thanks goes out to Sunday
school groups, the youth group, the children’s group and individuals for
packing shoe boxes this year. The
happiness that your boxes will bring to a child during this Christmas season
will be a testament to your giving hearts.
In the past years, we have set our church goal at 150 boxes and last
year was the closest that we had come to meeting that goal at 105 boxes. With your faithfulness, God’s blessings and
in spite of tough economic times, we met our goal at exactly 150 boxes! During this
Christmas season, as we remember the gift of God’s Son to this world, pray
for those 150 children who will receive these gifts and pray that God blesses
them in a wonderful way. Thanks again
for sharing your love with these children, so that they may come to know the
love of God through your giving. May
