Children’s Departments

Nursery (Birth-2 years)

Loving experienced workers care for your small children while you attend Sunday school and worship services. We have cribs and age appropriate toys to make your youngster’s experience an enjoyable one.

Preschool (Ages 2-3 years)

This class provides the children an opportunity for free play followed by a Bible story, singing, and art activities. Children’s church is provided during the morning worship service for this age group.

Preschool (Ages 4-5 years)

This class teaches children about God through art, learning activities and Bible stories. Children’s church is provided during the morning worship service for this age group.

Children (Grades 1-2)

This group enjoys learning about God’s world, Jesus, and the Bible through active participation in learning activities. Children’s church is provided during the morning worship service for this age group.

Children (Grades 3-4)

This group learns a lot of things about the Bible. The students learn the divisions and books of the Bible giving them an opportunity to reference scripture and memorize Bible verses. They also learn about our church, its worship services, and its various programs and mission studies. Children’s church is provided during the morning worship service for this age group.

Children (Grades 5-6)

We are concerned with meeting the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of this age group. Students learn to relate the scriptures to real life situations through discussions are encouraged to participate in mission projects and social activities.

Youth (Grades 7-12)

Each Sunday the group shares concerns, studies the Bible, and prays together. FBC youth are active in social activities and participate in mission activities as well.

Adult Departments

College and Career

This class is for young adults, those either in college or just beginning their careers beyond high school.

Young Adults

This class is made up of men and women, generally between the ages of 25-40ish. Using a combination of lecture and discussion, this class rotates 5 teachers between teaching responsibilities.

Cornerstone

This class is for men and women between the ages of 45-55. They also use a combination of lecture and discussion in their curriculum.

Adult I

Members are senior men ages 50 plus and are active in all aspects of church life. A lot of Bible history is taught in this class. There are 2 teachers who rotate and use both lecture and discussion formats.

Upper Room

Members are senior women ages 60 plus who enjoy discussion of the Bible and have 2 teachers who rotate teaching duties.

Glennis Bridges

Members are senior women over the age of 75. This class enjoys their teacher who teaches a lot of Bible history.

Golden Rule

Members are senior men ages 60 plus. They use a combination of lecture and discussion in their curriculum.
