First Baptist Church of Dunlap is proud to announce the calling, and subsequent election, of Brother Randy Harmon as its pastor. Randy comes to Dunlap FBC from Double Springs Baptist Church in Athens, Tennessee. Randy earned his BA in Religion and Psychology from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee in 1984. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, Texas where he earned his Master of Divinity in Biblical languages. He returned to Cleveland, Tennessee where he worked as a home health social worker while serving Double Springs Baptist Church as a bi-vocational pastor for 5 years before assuming the full time pastorate. Randy has been married to Kim Jordan Harmon for 21 years and they have two daughters, Taylor, a freshman at UTC, and Bailey, a junior at Sequatchie County High School. Bro. Randy’s service began March 2, 2008.
